The Good: Morgan is a hard-nosed run defender who has developed into a ball hawk in pass coverage. He has keen instincts that allow him to diagnose plays fast. He also has the speed to get to the ball and finish plays. He has immediate pro ability as a special-teams performer. He can make plays from sideline to sideline. He developed into one of the best playmakers in the Atlantic Coast Conference last season.
The Bad: He needs to improve his ball instincts in order to play up to his athleticism. His instincts were often questioned early in his career, when he occasionally would take a false step and put himself out of position. He does have the speed to cover up many of his mistakes, and he showed more discipline last season.
