Spring practice is just around the corner. How of much of the playbook will be unleashed? How versatile is the 2013 class? Offensive Coordinator Jeff Mullen answered these questions and more with NinerReport.[details]
The Good: An elite athlete for the position and is always a threat to tuck the ball and pick up yards with his feet. Possesses a strong arm from the pocket and developed immensely as a pocket passer the past year. Does a nice job extending plays outside the pocket and is very accurate on the move. Is at his best when asked to improvise after a play breaks down. The Bad: For such a gifted athlete, he looks mechanical with his footwork and throwing motion. He displays an elongated release and at times looks more like a center fielder than a QB. Isn't quick to go through his reads at the line of scrimmage.
