The Good: Nelson is a physical receiver with a big frame, sure hands and deceptive speed. He moves and jumps well and displays plenty of toughness. He recognizes coverages well enough to get open consistently. His deceptive speed allows him to get open deep, though he probably will find his niche as a possession receiver in the NFL.
The Bad: His route running has left major questions about beating the jam and making cuts against NFL-caliber cornerbacks.
