Neblett displays above-average flexibility and initial quickness off the snap. He does a nice job keeping his shoulder down when shooting gaps inside and then fighting his way through blocks when working into the backfield. He possesses a good arm-over move to disengage from blocks but lacks ideal power and balance to routinely stay on his feet. He has a tendency to get too high once he gains a step and can get pushed past the play. He struggles anchoring inside at the point of attack and needs to do a better job extending his arms on contact. Neblett has a tendency to get turned away from the ball inside and is easily washed out of plays. He lacks the power to stack and shed inside, and once opposing linemen get into his frame, the battle is over. He has a tendency to get too high on slide-down blocks and is consistently sealed away from plays down the line. He's a good athlete who has the ability to create some pressure inside. But he lacks power at the point of attack and struggles when an opposing lineman gets his hands on him. He looks like a borderline roster guy in a one-gap scheme.
