Anderson exhibits a thickly built upper body but looks a bit thin in his lower half. He gets upright when attacking the line of scrimmage and isn't as physical as his frame would indicate. But he showcases good vision when attacking the line of scrimmage and possesses the short-area quickness to consistently sidestep tacklers. He does a nice job setting up blocks and is patient at the line of scrimmage. Anderson takes what the defense gives him and consistently lowers his pad level and fights for tough yards inside. He does a nice job of picking his way through traffic, stepping through tackles and is effective in tight areas. But he seems to play at one speed and doesn't showcase much of a burst when he gets in space. He has enough speed to reach the corner but isn't going to outrun any angles and lacks a great initial burst out of his breaks.
