A tall, upright runner who displays an average first step and runs with a nasty demeanor inside, Toston isn't afraid to pump his legs through contact and is a collision runner between the tackles. But he runs too upright and exposes too much of his body on contact. He doesn't display the pad level to break tackles inside and is consistently stonewalled on contact. He's a straight-line runner who doesn't exhibit much balance or wiggle when trying to make a man miss. He can't create on his own and lacks vision and cutback ability inside, and if there isn't a hole in front of him, he tries to push the pocket.
