2007 (Freshman): One of the biggest Gamecocks along the defensive line... could work his way into the rotation at one of the defensive tackle positions as a redshirt freshman in 2007.
2006 (Redshirt): Ellis will be given the opportunity to show he's ready for immediate playing time. His biggest challenge will be his weight and conditioning level. As of press time, he still had a ways to go in both categories.
