Pros: Kuper was dominant in both run and pass blocking at the Division II level and earned an invitation to the NFL Combine. He is a solidly built, very athletic player that has good agility and very good footwork. He is very comfortable and effective when pulling and is able to adjust when blocking on the second level. He anchors well versus the bull rush with the functional strength and agility to contain defenders. As a drive blocker, he is a tough, physical competitor that gets into his blocks quickly with nice movement and finishes with a powerful leg drive. He shows the ability to pick up stunts and blitzes. He has some experience as a long snapper that should enhance his value. Cons: At times he gets out of position by being overly aggressive. He is less effective in space, where his marginal foot speed and athleticism can break down. He needs to build his strength to handle the 320-pound defensive tackles. Numbers:: At the Combine he ran the 40-yard dash in 5.10 seconds with a 30" vertical jump and a 9'1" broad jump. He did 24 reps of the 225-pound bench press.
