The good: A tough, compact runner who has been one of the most productive backs in the nation. He has the running skills and toughness to be a workhorse feature back. He has the cutting skills to make tacklers miss and moves well laterally without losing speed. He made over half his yardage after contact, displaying tremendous lower body strength to break tackles.
The bad: He lacks elite speed. As a blocker, he struggles with technique and his ability to adjust to secondary moves. He needs work at picking up the blitz; that will determine his early playing time as a pro. He also needs to become a better receiver.
