It has been done. The record has been broken. Six of last year's Orange Bowl Bearcats have been selected in the NFL draft, surpassing the 1998 record of five. With this year's draft completed we take a look at which Bearcats are the early favorites to join their former teammates in the NFL.[details]
The Good: An athletic linebacker with the burst and speed to track down the ball and run sideline to sideline. Possesses very long arms for his frame and does a great job keeping defenders off his body. Plays with natural leverage at the point of attack and does a nice job fighting through blocks and attacking up field. Is an effective blitzer off the edge. The Bad: A bit undersized for the position and may need to add more lower body strength to his frame. Isn't a real explosive tackler and will bounce off running backs at the second level. Not the most instinctive linebacker and will miss assignments and bite on play fakes.
