The Good: Rodgers-Cromartie had huge performances at both the Senior Bowl and NFL Combine. He is a big, rangy athlete who moves easily and has the skill set to become a top-flight NFL cover man. He is a lanky athlete with excellent growth potential once he enters an NFL weight training program. He has very quick feet and the flexible hips to turn and cover in the deep game. He can also close on the ball to make plays. He displayed big-play ability as a cover corner as a four-year starter.
The Bad: He needs development in his basic technique and reads to fully realize his blue-chip talent. He has shown inconsistencies, and his small-college background worries some. As a tackler, he is not a physical hitter and is more a drag down defender who needs definite strength development to improve in this key area.
