The Good: He is a good athlete who is strong and tough in the pocket and also has the ability to make a play as a runner. He is very accurate in the short game and has made nice progress in the deeper game in that respect. Showed fine leadership skills while at Michigan. He has a compact delivery and makes sound decisions. Delivers the ball with fine velocity and timing.
The Bad: He needs further work in his overall game and his footwork in particular on his drops and setting in the pocket. A late-season shoulder injury could be cause for concern, though he erased some doubts by having an excellent postseason.
