The good: His production was limited by USC's star-studded lineup, but Davis displayed big-play ability when given the opportunity. He is a well-built athlete with a strong frame. He has outstanding hands and played wide receiver before outgrowing the position. He has good speed and can gain big chunks of yardage after the catch. As a receiver, he does a good job of reading coverage, moves very well into and out of his breaks and has the ability to go up and fight for the ball in a crowd. As a blocker, he shows agility and quickness.
The bad: As an inline blocker, he needs better hand use and better leverage to take advantage of his strong athletic frame. He needs work on his technique and strength to grade out higher in that role.
