EL PASO, TX--The offense was dazzling and the defense was less than that. Who stood out and where did the Tigers fall short? PowerMizzou.com hands out its final grades for the Tigers following a heartbreaking 39-38 Sun Bowl loss.[details]
The good: Jackson is a tough defender. He has a good closing burst and could become a decent starter in the right scheme.
The bad: Jackson doesn't possess great size or speed. He may be a difficult fit to start on either side of the line. He struggles to hold his ground against the running attack and has trouble on plays directed at him.
Outlook: Jackson is a role player with upside. He has the potential to become productive in a 4-3 scheme. He's a marginal Top 200 prospect and a good second-day gamble.
