Here's a look at the stats and scores from the entire Texas Class of 2009, as well as other key names/targets/prospects from 2009-2011.
Texas 2009 commitments
QB - Garrett Gilbert - Lake Travis
The five-star quarterback completed 18 of 24 passes for 267 yards and three touchdowns (zero interceptions) in the Cavs' 55-14 win over Austin LBJ. He also rushed for 102 yards and four touchdowns on 11 carries. Through the regular season, Gilbert has completed 201 of 292 passes for 3,324 yards, 41 touchdowns and only two interceptions. He also has added 317 yards and nine touchdowns on the ground.
RB - Chris Whaley - Madisonville
Whaley rushed for 1,910 yards and 24 touchdowns on 187 carries over the course of nine games this season.
WR - Greg Timmons - Aldine Eisenhower
Timmons caught four passes for 42 yards in Eisenhower's 23-3 win over Houston Westside. For the year, Timmons has 28 receptions for 530 yards and six touchdowns.
TE - Barrett Matthews - Galena Park North Shore
Matthews caught two passes for 31 yards in North Shore's 30-10 win over Deer Park. Through nine games this season, Matthews has caught nine passes for 152 yards and three touchdowns.
TE - Trey Graham - Waco Midway
Graham did not catch a pass in Midway's 35-12 win over Forney. Overall, Graham has caught 16 passes for 210 yards and two touchdowns.
OL - Mason Walters - Frenship
Frenship rushed for 281 yards on 47 carries, as the undefeated and sixth-ranked Tigers walloped Amarillo Palo Duro 27-6.
OL - Thomas Ashcraft - Cedar Hill
The Cedar Hill offense rushed for 348 yards and passed for 131 more in a 52-49 win over Plano West.
OL - Garrett Porter - Odessa Permian
Permian rushed for 250 yards and passes for 361 yards, as they blew out El Dorado 62-14. Through ten games this season, Porter had 98 pancake blocks and 104 knock-downs.
OL - Paden Kelley - Lake Travis
The Lake Travis offense rolled up 495 total yards of offense (270 passing and 2225 rushing) in Lake Travis' 55-14 win over Austin LBJ.
DT - Calvin Howell - San Antonio Warren
Warren held CC Carroll to 54 yards rushing on 31 carries and 104 passing yards in a 28-7 win. Entering the playoffs, Howard had recorded 38 tackles, three tackles for loss, two sacks and two fumble recoveries.
DT - Derek Johnson - Hoxie (Ark)
Hoxie had a bye week this week.
DL - Kyle Kriegel - Elysian Fields
Kriegel's season has been completed.
DE - Alex Okafor - Pflugerville
Okafor recorded three sacks in Pflugerville's season-ending 14-7 loss to Smithson Valley.
DE - Dominique Jones - Kilgore
Kilgore held Marshall to 215 yards of total offense in their 31-28 win over Kilgore. Heading into the playoffs, Jones has recorded 64 tackles, 10 tackles for loss and three sacks.
LB - Tariq Allen - Irving MacArthur
Allen's season is complete and he finished with 122 tackles, 16 tackles for loss, four sacks, one forced fumble and one recovered fumble.
LB - Patrick Nkwopara - SGP
SGP's defense held Grand Prairie to 319 yards of total offense in a 27-14 loss to Allen. Before the loss to Allen, Nkwopara had recorded 95 tackles, 28 tackles for loss, four sacks and two forced fumbles.
CB - Eryon Barnett - Euless Trinity
Barnett is out for the rest of the season with a torn ACL.
CB - Marcus Davis - League City Clear Creek
The Clear Creek defense gave up nearly 500 yards in a season-ending 59-17 loss to Hightower.
DB - Kenny Vaccaro - Early
Vaccaro is out for the rest of the season with a torn ACL. In three games this season, Vaccaro recorded 28 tackles, seven tackles for loss, one sack and one pass break-up.
Other key 2009 prospects
WR - Emory Blake - Austin High
Blake had one of the best career games in what turned out to be his final high school game, as he caught 12 passes for 125 touchdowns, while also adding 46 yards and a touchdown on the ground, but it wasn't enough to keep the Maroons from losing 24-20 to San Antonio Reagan. Blake caught 64 passes for 926 yards and nine touchdowns on the year.
WR - A.J. Dugat - Dayton
Dugat did everything for Dayton, catching 11 passes for 98 yards, rushing for 41 yards on four carries and he stepped into the defensive secondary late I the game and picked off a pass in the end zone and returned it 70 yards, as Dayton beat Livingston 39-28. Dugat has 81 receptions for 1,237 yards and 14 touchdowns as a receiver, while adding 399 yards and four touchdowns on 38 carries.
Ath - Cody Green - Dayton
The Nebraska commit completed 16 of 22 passes for 186 yards and a touchdowns, while also running for 102 yards and three touchdowns on 20 carries, as Dayton beat Livingston 39-28. In ten games this season, Green has completed 170 of 260 passes for 2,275 yards and 23 touchdowns (only four interceptions), while adding 825 yards and 20 touchdowns on the ground.
RB - Waymon James - Sherman
James rushed for 168 yards and a touchdown on 26 carries, while also catching three passes for 59 yards in a 48-34 loss to Richardson Pearce.
RB - Hasan Lipscomb - Houston Cy Ridge
Lipscomb did not play in Cy Ridge's 26-22 win over Round Rock.
RB - Christine Michael - Beaumont West Brook
Michael exploded for 304 yards and six touchdowns on 29 carries, as West Brook rolled over Pasadena Memorial 51-35. Through nine games, Michael has rushed for 1,319 yards and 24 touchdowns on 153 carries, along with 21 receptions for 209 yards and a touchdown.
RB - Jonathan Miller - Garland Naaman Forest
Miller rushed for 199 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries in a 20-7 win over Carrollton Creekview. Miller has rushed for 1,792 yards and 19 touchdowns on 224 carries thus far this season.
QB - Richard Morrison - Royse City
Richard Morrison completed 23 of 45 passes 281 yards and a touchdown (two interceptions), while adding 35 yards and a touchdown on the ground in Royse City's 41-24 loss to Denison. For the season, Morrison has completed 189 of 319 passes for 2,471 yards and 22 touchdowns (eight interceptions), while adding a team-best 586 yards and eight touchdowns on 110 carries.
Ath - Dexter Pratt - Navasota
Navasota has a fist-round bye in the playoffs.
QB - Russell Shepard - Houston Cy Ridge
The five-star athlete rushed for 201 yards and three touchdowns on 31 carries, while he completed five of 12 passes for 70 yards and a touchdown in a 26-22 win over Round Rock. So far this season, Shepard has completed 97 of 176 passes for 1,528 yards, 17 touchdowns and four interceptions. Shepard also has 1,312 yards and 20 touchdowns on 199 carries.
RB - Eric Stephens - Mansfield Timberview
Stephens rushed for 172 yards and three touchdowns on 17 carries in Timberview's 35-21 win over Fort Worth Southwest. Through nine games this season, Stephens has rushed for 1,177 yards and 18 touchdowns on 148 carries, while adding 25 receptions for 234 yards as a receiver.
Other key 2010 prospects
QB - Sam Carter - Sharpstown
Sam Carter accounted for 406 yards of offense (309 passing and 97 rushing), including five touchdowns passing in a 51-33 win over Furr. Carter has completed 123 of 264 passes for 1,702 yards and 19 touchdowns (11 interceptions), while adding 1,023 yards and nine touchdowns on 182 carries.
Ath - Justin Gilbert - Huntsville
Gilbert completed two of four passes for 50 yards in Huntsville's 35-28 loss to Lockhart.
WR - Kyle Guinyard - Ennis
The fast-rising junior caught six passes for 100 in Ennis' 55-14 win over Red Oak. So far this season, Guinyard has 82 receptions for 1,449 yards and 18 touchdowns.
WR - John Harris - Garland Naaman Forest
Harris caught one passes for nine yards and a in a 20-6 win over Carrollton Creekview. For the season he has caught 38 passes for 519 yards and seven touchdowns.
Ath - James Haynes - West-Orange Stark
Haynes scored on a 24-yard touchdown run in WOS' 36-8 win over Coldspring. Haynes is a full-time defensive player, but he also has nine receptions for 100 yards and a touchdown as a receiver, along with 180 yards and four touchdowns on the ground.
RB - D.J. Jones - Denison
Jones rushed for 180 yards and scored two touchdowns on 22 carries, while also adding two receptions for 68 yards and a score, in Denison's 41-24 win over Royce City.
WR - Quentin Parks - Humble Atascocita
Parks caught three passes for 28 yards and a touchdown in a 10-7 loss to Madison. Parks finished the year with nine catches for 102 yards.
WR - DeAndre Perry - Austin Bowie
Perry caught four passes for 40 yards in Bowie's 19-14 loss to San Antonio Madison. For the season, Perry finished with 34 receptions for 507 yards and four touchdowns.
RB - Lache Seastrunk - Temple
Seastrunk rushed for 59 yards on 18 carries in Temple's 40-14 loss to DeSoto. Seastrunk finished the season with 1,511 yards and 14 touchdowns, while adding three more touchdowns as a receiver and one more on a kickoff return.
QB - Jameill Showers - Killeen Shoemaker
Shoemaker takes on Tyler John Tyler at 5pm on Saturday. Overall, Showers completed 109 of 212 passes for 1,896 yards and 18 touchdowns (along with eight interceptions), while adding 505 yards on the ground.
WR - Darius Terrell - DeSoto
Terrell caught one pass for 41 yards in DeSoto's 40-14 win over Temple. Through 11 games this season, Terrell has caught 32 passes for 558 yards and six touchdowns.
QB - Jacoby Walker - Spring Westfield
Walker completed 17 of 29 passes for 126 yards and one interception in a 24-6 loss to The Woodlands. For season, Walker has completed 141 of 211 passes for 2,034 yards, 20 touchdowns and eight interceptions.
WR - Darius White - Fort Worth Dunbar
White caught five passes for 115 yards and a touchdown in Dunbar's 47-41 loss in double-overtime to Stephenville. For the season, White finished with 40 catches for 1,067 yards and 16 touchdowns.
WR - Deandrew White - Houston North Shore
The fast-rising White caught four passes for 76 yards and two touchdowns. Through nine games this season, White has caught 28 passes for 670 yards and nine touchdowns.
QB - Connor Wood - Houston Second Baptist
Wood was 15 for 24 for 216 yards and one touchdown (one interception), while adding 52 yards and three touchdowns on the ground, in a 31-0 win over Hyde Park Baptist. For the season, Wood has completed 148 of 238 passes for 2,056 yards, 19 touchdowns and five interceptions, while adding 362 yards and 16 touchdowns on the ground.
