Beavs keep moving forward despite weather
Wednesday's rainy weather forced practice to be held inside the Truax Center. And maybe it was the muggy air or the poor lighting, but the players were pretty sluggish throughout. However, that didn't seem to dampen the mood of Coach Riley and Co. There were plenty of smiles and laughs as the program appears to be comfortable with what they are doing at this point of camp.
The quarterback play was pretty mixed. Lyle Moevao's release continues to get quicker, which shows how confident he is with his decision-making. However, he wasn't as sharp throwing the deep ball as he was on Monday. It's important to note that he being in better shape should help the Beavers a lot this season. Moevao looks more comfortable rolling out and making quick passes.
